What Are Pallet Retail Displays?

Pallet Display

Pallet retail displays are a combination of marketing strategy and packaging strategy. Products are wrapped and packaged within a pallet, but designed to be seen by the public and communicate a marketing message at the same time.

Often in big box stores like Costco, you will see a pallet retail display where customers can walk by and see clearly what the product is and does, and at the same time the product is carefully packaged and safe within the display pallet.

Advantages of Pallet Retail Displays

The advantages of a pallet retail display are several. The company selling the product does not have to worry about or plan for a secondary marketing display after products are unloaded because the marketing is already designed into the pallet.

Pallet retail displays save time and money. They are quick to set up and take down, and customers walking by can grab a product right off the pallet. No special shelf space is required in a store, and all that is required is the space for a square pallet. Companies selling products save the cost of stocking and restocking fees because the products always stay in their shipping pallet.

Pallet retail displays are sturdy and safe for the product because they are by definition also its shipping container. They are cleverly designed to capture the attention of the target customer walking by.

Pallet retail displays are a great idea for the company manufacturing the product, the storefront, and the customer. You typically see several marketing materials at the pallet which is more than you would see on a shelf, and there will be ample product right there to choose from.
