RTD beverage is an uprising alcohol category that breaks record in growth and sale numerous times in the industry, which seems to shine a bright future for US hard seltzer manufacturers to lean on.  Alcohol sparkling water enters the US market and has intensified the market by storm obtaining positive feedback from consumers. Mike’s hard sparkling water, a vodka-based citrus alcohol drink, plans to make an entrance to the UK’s market by AB InBev.

With three signature flavors in launching, the products will be available for consumers through online shopping and retail purchasing. According to the company, the product is targeting Millennials and their contemporary lifestyles. The appeal is eye-catching and refreshing while the citrus-based tastes attract a health-conscious crowd.

The sales volume seems solid enough for the manufacturers to gain confidence that the product will be popular in the UK as the UK’s RTD market is growing faster than any other category such as wine, beer, spirits, and cider.  The manufacturer aims to capitalize on the brand and hopes to gain loyalty in the young industry.
