In the past few decades, we can see an great increase in online orders. Companies are now faced with an influx of orders, quick turnaround rates, and labor-intensive packing and processing. With this comes a growing need for 3PL partners that can offer the appropriate infrastructure and experience to help your business grow. Below we’ll take a look into what to look for in a 3PL provider:

You should shop for a provider that can tailor to your specific needs as a growing business. A quality provider will make an effort to design operations to fit your needs.

It’s crucial to partner with a 3PL that can guide your business and grow with you. This applies to capital investment, space, and labor needs.

Real-time analytics:

An excellent WMS system that delivers accurate and quick data are important to optimize your business. This includes reports, inventory and order management, and much more.

Multi-channel fulfillment:

Many companies operate their business through multi-channels, whether it’s online or retail stores. A 3PL should be able to handle multi-channel fulfillment with ease.

Integrated Services:

It’s the cherry on top if your provider can also be useful in other areas of the supply chain. This includes co-packing, distribution, trucking, warehousing, and transportation.
