Logistics is the intricacy of the supply chain industry. It includes the entire process in the flow of transporting goods such as production, packaging, handling, transporting, and warehousing. The logistics part is often being overlooked the complexity, especially in a disruptive environment. In Vancouver, British Columbia, logistics make up the largest proportion of a sector in the supply chain.

Warehousing, on the other hand, is mainly the storage for the raw material, WIP goods, and finished products.  But in the modern days, it also provides the best stage for inventory control and measurement. The function provides the phase to collectively control the overview of the inventory level.

Warehousing and logistics are sharing the same objectives with each other but are segregated by different perspectives. Both processes are intertwined with each other but operated by different designs. Both are a vital component of a supply chain that are necessities to businesses.
